Company HistoryUntil recently MS Wulguru was operating as MS Welding and Fabrications. Seven years ago Mick Searle established MS Welding after 20 years in the mining industry being involved in steel fabrications, refurbishment of earthmoving and mining equipment and contract mining. Mick grew his business steadily over the following years with each phase of growth made possible by the reputation he had personally developed with his customers, a solid reputation for delivering on expectations MS Welding’s expertise and reputation caught the attention of Wulguru Steel, a major Townsville based fabrication and engineering company. A short time later the two companies joined forces to create MS Wulguru, which remains based in Charters Towers. The resulting sharing of key resources between the two companies has enabled MS Wulguru to significantly grow and effectively complete for larger projects without compromising the companies well earned reputation. MS Wulguru is now very well placed and resourced to take on large scale projects and provide reliable labour hire service. MS Wulguru’s client base also expanded from primarily mining industries to include the building and food processing industries. MS Wulguru has a workshop in Charters Towers which is well equipped to carry out all steel fabrications, refurbishment of earthmoving equipment, blasting and application of industrial coatings.
